Original Design

There are some basic questions you should ask when thinking about a design for your website. Where DDU comes in is helping you realize your short term / long term goals and working alongside you to achieve these goals. Your website is a direct reflection of your product and the quality of service you provide. We want the standard of excellence to carry through every facet of your business so we look at things like:
What is the purpose of your website?
Who do you want to visit your website?
What do you want your visitors to do?
How will you get them to do it and how often?
These questions are especially significant when approaching any sort of e-commerce. Colors are important, design elements (whether you're going for a futuristic feel, more bohemian, a varsity-style appeal, or just a basic color palate specifically chosen for your business, we can make it work. No detail is too outlandish when it comes to getting exactly what you want from your website! Below you'll find the steps we use to create your site:

Organizing Your Website
Once we have clearly defined your goals, this will determine your pages (where your content will be placed) this will allow us to start mapping out your website. Whether you want or need drop-down navigation, roll-over effects or a simple text navigation menu are all elements of design, but the organization of text and images will be done in such a way as to make sure visitors can find the information they are looking for in the least amount of 'clicks' as possible.

Creating a Design
After sending you a sitemap and finalizing content, we will start working on the design. If you have a few examples of websites that you like and why you like them this will help tremendously in the scope of the design. Be sure to tell us what you like or don't like about thiese designs so that we can accomodate your taste and the vision for your business. Inspiration isn't limited to websites either. If you've seen a photograph, if there's a particular sketch you've drawn or maybe you've taken samples from a magazine and like the color scheme, all these things are relevant to the overall design.
After we're confident with the materials we've gathered and a rendering is made; you will be presented with two screenshots to review, one of the website home page and the other a secondary or sub-page. This will be your opportunity to make any changes or corrections if needed. When the design is approved, we will begin finalizing your website design add content to the actual website pages.

Launching Your Website
After setting up a sub folder on your domain where you only can view the progress we will seek your final approval before the actual launch of your website. If you require hosting for your website we would be happy to recommend a list of providers for both domain names and hosting or either seperately. If you require website maintenance for the foreseeable future to alter content on your page on a regular basis, this can also be arranged during or after the contract period. Please visit the 'Maintenance' section for more information on how we can keep your new site up to date.
